I designed a mural for the head office of dance and activewear designer Energetiks. The challenge was to interpret the brand in a way that would inspire and acknowledge staff. I came up with this phrase to celebrate all the work that goes on behind the scenes. Similar to the way a dancer or athlete will train for a lifetime for a fleeting performance, it's the little things done each day (excellent customer service, packing orders, designing new product) that make all the difference in the success of a brand. I asked all staff to contribute ideas for the mini illustrations so that everyone would see a symbol of their efforts and personality making up the bigger picture of a leading brand and wonderful workplace.
